Data sets that are not winning

Hi there. I was thinking about the process of this competition. While I can see that only some datasets will be considered winning entries, I think it will be unfair for the organisation to distribute freely the other data sets submitted.

I think that whatever datasets will be featured / listed / publicised by AI4D should be by agreement with the owner of the data set. If the data set did not win it should be at the discretion of the owner to allow them to be disseminated further.

If you check rules for this competition, you will find this statement

"When you make a submission you are authorizing us to share your submitted dataset with the public under the creative commons license. We will share all the datasets at some point in the future after the close of the competition."
