Hi all,
Please note that we have updated the rules to:
You may not translate the text into any other language. The objective of this competition is to create an indigenous language tool that will be nullified if it were translated.
Is data augmentation allowed from translating some of our data to English then back translation to Chiachewa. So we still train on the indigenous language.
No translation is allowed. If future NLP practitioners want to use ideas from this solution going forward they would benefit from no back translation, especially languages that do not have a translation API.
Would be nice if you guys reset the leadboard , a lot of submission probably get high score using translate features
