Dear Zindians,

Due to concerns about COVID-19, #ICLR2020 has canceled its physical conference this year, and will instead host a fully virtual conference.

The winners will still be invited to present their solutions at the virtual event workshop on 26 April.

However, this means that the winners will no longer travel. We originally set the deadline as 16 March in case of a long visa application process. Because this is no longer necessary, Zindi and our partners have decided to extend this challenge to 29 March to give the community more time to get the best possible solution.

We are also working on converting the travel awards and grants into cash prizes, though the amounts may not be exactly the same. We will announce the new cash prize structure as soon as possible.

Happy competing!
