1 week to go! How is everyone doing? Any questions?
Notebooks · 27 Oct 2025, 09:21 · 3

I wanted to open up a thread where everyone can drop questions, ideas, or even just talk through what you’re working on with me and other participants. We have 1 week left on this challenge, so I want to make sure I am here to help push everyone to the finish line! Whether you are nearly done or still have some work to do, I'd love to hear your questions, concerns, and ideas!

If you’re stuck, curious about the challenge details, or just want to sanity-check an idea, please put it here! Chances are, if you’re wondering about something, others are too.

I'll be around this week to help clear up any final barriers!

Hello @Byoungberg Is any amount of creative insight allowed for this challenge? After the key questions have been answered by the visualizations I am doing, can I give the story case a different analytical and creative perspective ?

Hi @Shirlyngit! Great questions! We absolutely support some space for some creativity for this challenge! So long as the key questions and aims of the the notebook are answered, you are more than welcome and encouraged to keep exploring and pushing the data and insights further!

Regarding the challenge of the database import, It is difficult to know exactly what is causing an issue, but to start, I'd suggest somethign like this (I will indicate individual observable cells with backticks!):

``` (It is important that this is its own cell!)
import {exposure_db} from "b2a8f20822affaca"
```

```
exposure_db.query(`
SELECT *
FROM exposure
WHERE Isfinite("value")
LIMIT 6
`)
```

Hopefully some of the examples in here can help!! https://observablehq.com/d/b2a8f20822affaca
