Need some Clarity on the Scoring
Help · 26 Jan 2026, 07:50 · 4

Hi everyone,

Please assist on the matter

I'm currently number 27 on the leaderboard with the scores

Public score: 0.641028537 F 1 Multiclass 0.644975832 Straight Accuracy 0.631818181

Private score: 0.699394992 F 1 Multiclass 0.704979859 Straight Accuracy 0.686363636

However on the submission portal I have several submissions that performed well

example: which is 10 days ago

Public score: 0.598089706 F 1 Multiclass 0.604089191 Straight Accuracy 0.584090909

Private score: 0.713880297 F 1 Multiclass 0.718854969 Straight Accuracy 0.702272727

I wish I could attach screenshots but some its not supported.

You need to select two submissions that you want to be scored on. If you didn't select before the close of the competition, you're scored on the submission with the best public leaderboard score.

I didn't select them honestly

Did you select those well scoring subs? I think that they select the best two public LB scoring submissions if you do not explicitly select subs. But, of course, it will be interesting to find out what happened here.

True, I didn't select them, because Public score doesn't always reflect the best scores.
