Sentinel 2 L1C provided instead of L2A

Dear community,
I noticed that the Sentinel 2 provided for this competition are Level-1C (instead of Level 2A) which means top of atmosphere image has not been applied to the images.
How do you think a model based on a Level-1C dataset will perform on a Level-2 dataset?
