Hello everyone,
I am looking for some more clarity on the 'Target' variable of the Train dataset.
What does a value of 1 or 0 indicate? Does a 1 indicate that the coordinates contain farmland and a 0 indicates land not suitable for growing (ie urban development)? Or does a 1 indicate that crops are present and growing while a 0 indicates there are no crops currently growing? Or something else entirely?
Can a single pair of coordinates have a 'Target' value of 1 at a specific time of year and then become 0 at a later time in the year?
Thank you for your time.
Hi, thank for your question. 1 means presence of crop at the time of data collection.
