justice for gold winners, earning one is by investing everthing, without putting into account edges/priveleges, hows that going to stigmatize one from incoming prize, justice!!!!!!
Oh come on my guy, earning a gold medal literally means you have passed the beginner stage. I think this competition is meant for others who are actually beginners to win prizes.
I agree with you @CodeJoe. Don't see any kind of injustice either. It finally gives beginner a little hope to win a competition. Not just participate to learn.
I also find it so sad that this challenge is closed for experts and non-Africans. The subject is extremly interesting and I would love to participate. Of course it is encouraging for beginners to be closer to a gold medal but I think its shouldn't be about that. The objective should be learning and pushing the bar not as an individual but a community.
But again: please make a open challenge about indigenous knowlegde for everyone!!! Maybe even including other cultures. Indigenous groups are all over the world. Bridging those wisdoms would be so beautiful. ❤️

I don't see any sense of injustice here😂.

There are also other ways how to encourage local talents like the Côte d’Ivoire Byte-Sized Agriculture Challenge (https://zindi.africa/competitions/cote-divoire-byte-sized-agriculture-challenge). Here a seperate price was issues for both female teams and competitors from Côte d’Ivoire. I'd prefer this solution.

Hi @codejoe, Unfortunately, no users with a medal will be able to win points in this challenge.
However, we'll make sure to reopen this challenge as a Knowledge challenge so everyone can participate on a level playing field.
Best of luck!
That will be great. Thank you!
