Concerning the final(private) leaderboard

Usually, when competitions end, it takes little to no time for the private leaderboard to be uploaded. For some reasons, it's different in this case. However, my main concern is this, for competitors that finished in the top 10, we're required to submit our code for review and all, but we do not know where we stand on the private leaderboard. Isn't there a reason as to why we are given the choice of two final submissions? This way, we go slightly blindly, which are we expected to submit?

I believe we should at least be given the chance to see the private leaderboard or if there are reasons as to why it's not available, let us know.
