AWS RESOURCES AND POSSIBLE DEADLINE EXTENSION

Due to the size of the datast(approx 200gb), some of us are unable to partake in the challenge. We werre promised AWS resources for this competition, provided we were in top 100 by Jan 8th. 5 days have passed and we're yet to get any feedback regarding these resources. This delay, would have prevented those of us with limited resources from doing anything, which is why I'm asking for the deadline to be extended by the number of days that have elapsed. And also, what's the update on the resources to be allocated?

I don't think the host will agree with your request. Actually, if your computing resources are limited, you may consider participating in competitions where the dataset is not that big. The limitation of resources happens to everyone, not just you.
Firstly,
"In order to support participation in this challenge, AWS has made additional resources available for participants. The top 100 teams or individuals on the leaderboard at 8 January 2025 12:00 GMT will receive $500 AWS credit to access an AWS VM (V100 GPU with 32GB of RAM) via SageMaker, along with several AWS services as listed below (note: one VM per team)."
If they have no intention of support, they would not have suggested it.
Secondly,

What kind of suggestion is this?, the discussion is aimed at the host(Zindi) for support, not you!
