Unclear Signal Name Definition
Data · 30 Sep 2023, 20:51 · 2

Hello! I found that the signal names in the HL2A and the C-Mod database are not defined clearly. For example: What does 'CCO-LFB:LFBBOH' mean in the HL2A database? And what's the geometry of the C-Mod X-Ray tomographic channels? Could you please give an detailed explaination of what does the signal name mean and what are the geometries of the mirnov coils and the bolometers for the HL2A and the C-Mod data, just like what J-Text has done? It's not fair for participants that are not familiar with the HL2A and the C-Mod devices.

Many thanks in advance!

Hello! You can find a sheet matching the signal names in different devices here. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1iQk_qexTwmU3ybUgXBORUEjzxrTQRTdw8roCBDTEmpA/edit?usp=sharing. The signals in same row have similar physical meanings.
