Why some signals in C-mod data are missing?

I tried several c-mod train and test files. I found many signals are not available. For instance, "poloidal Mirnov probes_01" is the first signal in mir_name_list. After the tag names lookup, it should be "\\MAGNETICS::TOP.ACTIVE_MHD.SIGNALS:BP01_ABK for c-mod". But the signal is not found in the file. "toroidal Mirnov probes_01" becomes "\\MAGNETICS::TOP.ACTIVE_MHD.SIGNALS:BP08_ABK" and that signal is in the file. This applie to significant number of files. Anyone has similar experience?

I've spent a lot of time reading code, understanding information, and trying experiments.
Ultimately, I encountered 1 million bugs when using JDDB to implement my own ideas - which exceeds the reward limit, and it's very frustrating for me...
