Dear Zindi,
Can you please reset the leaderboard scores without deleting any of competitor's submissions and show only new submissions scores so that we can know our new position in the leaderboard ( you can only show submissions that their dates is > 12 August )
Again , can you please update the dataset files with dropping that feature so that we can assert no one will use it in a tricky way also for new competitiors to this competition and people who don't read the discussions.
Ps: This new rule is applied on all competitors so all scores will drop relatively by the same amount on leaderboard for that I think there's no need to extend the competition deadline

Totally agree. Leaderboard must be reseted and, in my view, competition deadline must be extended too.
agreed totally Fadhloun, leaderboard must be reset, otherwise its a blind spot for everyone and yes there's absolutely no need to extend the deadline.

This will determine how much effort I put into the competition! I always assumed people were using a leak, and perhaps this is true!

I don't agree with updating dataset files - you are placing new competitors to different conditions with others, who already have old files.

According to the rules "If you are in the top 20 at the time the leaderboard closes, we will email you to request your code. On receipt of email, you will have 48 hours to respond and submit your code following the submission guidelines detailed below. Failure to respond will result in disqualification."
Zindi will extend the review period for this challenge and be diligent in disqualifying users who do not submit their code for review.
We hope this encourages users to select submissions that do not have the leaked feature.
but if most of the top 20 people forget to select the submission without leak, and say 50 people do this mistake, this process will be really long and Zindi will have to mail people multiple times. It's best to reset the leaderboard.
