I think it would be fair to consider increasing the total submission quota for this challenge, especially because many participants who started early had already used several submissions before the competition metric was updated from a 70/30 weighting to a 50/50 weighting between RMSE and MBE.

That metric adjustment significantly changes validation strategies, model tuning priorities, and ensemble balancing. As a result, many participants now need additional experimentation rounds to properly adapt their pipelines to the revised evaluation setup.

I believe a reasonable increase in the submission quota would help ensure a more level playing field for everyone affected by the scoring change.
