Dear Ugandan Zindians,
If you are from Uganda and in the top 50 on the private leaderboard, please check your email as you will see an email from Zindi requesting you submit your code for review.
To verify your placement and to ensure you are eligible for the Finals competition you need to submit your code for review by Friday, 1 September, 9 am.
You need to click Reply All to the email and attach ONE .zip file that includes your code and a one page document that summarizes your approach.
Your .zip file needs to be labeled with the rank on the private leaderboard and your team or username. Please can only one person per team submit their solution.
For example: The first team place team on the leaderboard needs to submit a .zip file called #1_The 21/U.zip.
All the best,
Hello,
How do you intend to address the issue of team who mistakenly did not select their best score?
Does submitting a code that registers better score than in the leaders board attract penalty? Or are you looking for the code that exactly reproduce the leadersboard score?
My team mistakenly didn't select their best score file.
I would appreciate your guidance on this?
We are checking to see that your code runs and reproduces the score on the leaderboard. If by chance you did not select the correct submission and your code produces a better score then your leaderboard score, your leaderboard score will stay the same.
how about if didnt beat the 9am deadline? we were interrupted by general power blackout
