Hi, this is my first Zindi competition. In the info tab you asked for a 5-minute video to walk us through your solution, full documentation, requirements, original data, notebooks, ... But when I try to submit, I get only a one file upload window. Please guide me
Thanks Amy! I will upload the zipped file.
Hi I just tried loading the zip file and I get error loading data
Same here. After uploaded my first zip file once. I was unable to upload subsequent files. Even after tagging it "part2" as comments.
@Zindi should please address this "error loading" issue.
What I did is to upload the project (notebooks, documentation, data) on GitHub and also uploaded the 5min video on YouTube. I just added both links to the project PDF document that I submitted to Zindi via this platform
okay
Hello. I wanted to create a new thread to saw it fit to ask here since it is about submission. My question is can multiple submissions be made with different analysis? Like one which draws insights from the data using a visualization and another drawing different insights through a blog post or article? Thanks in advance.
Yes, it is generally acceptable and even encouraged to make multiple submissions analyzing the same data in different ways, as long as each submission provides unique value. Creating both a data visualization and a written analysis like a blog post can highlight different aspects of the data and provide complementary perspectives. The visualization may focus more on overall data trends, distributions, and relationships between variables. The written piece could then dive deeper into interpreting implications, telling a story, and deriving meaning from the same data.
As long as each submission properly credits the data source, and each analysis approach brings out new insights not covered in the other, making multiple entries with different analysis formats is often welcomed. It showcases your ability to derive insights in multifaceted ways. Just be sure not to simply repeat the same observations across submissions. Ensure your visualization offers a perspective the writing does not, and vice versa with geometry dash. Demonstrating fluency in both data visualization and written analysis makes you a more versatile and insightful data scientist overall.
@Sprunki Amazing knowledge and experience. Really enjoying the completely new experiences and approaches. Keep learning to build more data. Through the analytics sources, it is possible to update and exploit useful data.
