We are sourcing for a Client engaging for the Bill Gates Foundation and making true impact in
healthcare on the Continent through Technology and AI. We require a Engineering Manager who has
extensive experience in managing multiple sites. You must have delivered Product-Based Projects.
Purpose
The Agile Delivery Director will own delivery across multiple agile teams working on a large, complex
technical programme, ensuring coordinated execution and reliable outcomes at scale. This role exists to create clarity, rhythm, and predictability across interdependent teams — translating programme priorities into aligned, well-sequenced delivery.
Operating at the programme level, the Agile Delivery Director will lead the “scrum-of-scrums”, managing cross-team dependencies, surfacing and resolving risks, and ensuring that delivery remains on track across workstreams. The role balances strong delivery governance with agile principles, enabling teams to move fast while staying aligned.

Scope of work
- Multiple cross-functional agile teams
- One or more large technical programmes
- End-to-end technical delivery accountability
Experience Required
- 10+ years in software or technical delivery
- Proven experience leading delivery across multiple agile teams
- Experience running scrum-of-scrums / scaled agile delivery
- Track record of delivering complex, dependency-heavy programmes
- Comfortable operating at team level and executive level
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Postgraduate qualification (Honours/Master’s/MBA) will be advantageous.
- Experience in healthcare, public health, or large-scale digital transformation environments is advantageous.
