When the competition ends, you can no longer update your model. That is the truth test your model! So next week is the last opportunity for you to update your model. The final prediction will be made for week 52 & week 01, you won't be given this data.

That is correct, the true values for weeks 50 and 51 will be available next week as I explained above.

Do you mean we will not be predicting week 2 of 2026? it is included in the sample submission

This is confusing since it is required to forecast two weeks ahead. In week 52 (Starting 22nd of Dec. up to the end of the competition), we are supposed to forecast Week 1 (29th of Dec) and Week 2 (5th of Jan). And in this week (week 51), we are supposed to submit our predictions for weeks 52 and 1.

The following is quoted from the Evaluation part of this competition:

At the close of the challenge, your final submission in Week 52 (22–27 December 2025) will contain forecasts for Week 1 (29 December 2025–3 January 2026) and Week 2 (5–10 January 2026). Once agriBORA provides the actual maize prices for these weeks, these final forecasts will be evaluated and the leaderboard will be updated to produce the final rankings.

This means we will make our final submission based on the agribora data available up to week 51 only, since the competition will close before the release of the agribora data of week 52.

Please clarify if I have misunderstood anything.

Hi @ahmad_reda, this is the start of week 52 of the competition. Tomorrow, the leaderboard will be re-scored and the values for weeks 50 and 51 will be released. The final task will then be to predict week 52 and week 01 of January. In other words, weeks 51 and 01 are going to be your final forecasts. So this week is going to be the last opportunity to update your model. I will post a message to this effect tomorrow.
