How winners were selected Only users who submitted valid solutions on time were judged. Their work was evaluated across three key dimensions:

• Model Accuracy (50%): Assessed by F1-score on the test set, balancing precision and recall in landslide detection.
• AI Trustworthiness (30%): Evaluated based on adherence to ethical guidelines outlined in the Trustworthiness Evaluation document, with emphasis on transparency and bias mitigation.
• Innovation & Practicality (20%): Recognition of creative, practical approaches that demonstrate adaptability and robustness for real-world application.

A note to all participants: For those who didn’t make it to the top, remember: on Zindi, every challenge is a chance to grow, learn, and connect. We encourage you to share your solutions and thought processes in the forums so we can all learn from each other.
