How to read mgb files???

I’m too late to participate in this competition. I was really surprised to see that only 5 participants submitted their zip files — maybe that’s related to the problem I faced. I tried many ways to read the .mgb files, and I knew they weren’t images but something else. Eventually, I gave up."
These are genomic metadata (16s RNA gene sequencing profile)compressed using MGPEG format.
