I enjoyed participating in the competition, but I’d like to share a small observation. The rules specified that neural networks had to be used, yet the winning solution relied on a gradient-boosting model. Given that the dataset structure was not very suitable for neural networks, it means that participants who followed the NN requirement were at a disadvantage.
