Let's clarify first ... if you want to dare you can give your result based on my data above, but that is *urban* cpi.

I recall somewhere it was clarified that we need to predict urban CPI but can not find it now ... so what is it, urban or whole country?

From the information, it wasn't specified as either Urban or Country, the only thing I'm seeing here is south Africa itself, I guess we should wait for more clarity from Amy And also the final score of the private leaderboard

Well, the leaderboard broke its silence. Congrats @Koleshjr that is a very respectable 3rd! Impressive. The big surprise, for me but I think generally also, is the food and transport that both came in lower than expected, causing overall to also register a bit lower. Oh well - how's your items?

Honestly, its thanks to my teammate that we are actually at 3rd place. Thanks @Ebiendele, here are our item values:

ID Value

May_alcoholic beverages and tobacco 110.410579

May_clothing and footwear 103.8767638

May_communication 99.79185706

May_education 110.643162

May_food and non-alcoholic beverages 118.0558984

May_headline CPI 109.7929036

May_health 109.7092747

May_household contents and services 108.201193

May_housing and utilities 104.6300213

May_miscellaneous goods and services 109.2947754

May_recreation and culture 104.4690914

May_restaurants and hotels 109.9443795

May_transport 113.7407262

Seems like there are some errors:

May_food and non-alcoholic beverages is 118.0

May_teansport is 113.7,

May_miscellaneous goods and services is 109.0

The problem is that table E is only for Urbans areas:

try to use additional tables: https://www.statssa.gov.za/publications/P0141/P0141May2023_Tables.pdf

For me, it's table E. @Bwenge840 Look at, values and prior change match with data shared by zindi.
