Tomorrow STATSSA will release April CPI ... buckle up everybody, here we go.

Here a better metric would be RMSE of log of CPI and log of prediction.
At least here variance is relatively low, so no big deal ... but perhaps please be careful when you select evaluation metric.

Personally, I did real real quick and dirty model - my plan is to play first 3 small ones and if that works will do the work for big one, otherwise I think I'll pass. At least RMB is shaking the purse a bit.
Thanks goodness for comps like this, at least we stay in touch. Life would be boring without it.
